April is ‘Autism awareness month’ and this is your chance to show your support. There is very little awareness about Autism and it affects a large number of people and the way in which they communicate. The Prasanna Autism centre was set up to help children suffering from Autism and houses 38 children suffering from the disease.
This is your chance to show that you care and help these children in need. This weekend take some time out from your busy schedule and give back to society. Every step counts and this is your chance to give back to a worthy cause. Pledge to make a difference in the lives of the children this weekend, and run for the cause.
It’s also a chance to catch up on your fitness goals, motivate yourself and go that extra mile. The run is for beginners as well as pro runners and has four categories 3km, 5km, 10km and 15km. There has been considerable work done by the centre and it has been widely recognised for the same, the “SAKAL” social foundation has honoured and awarded Smt.Padmaja Godbole for her work in the field of Autism. The Prasanna centre has 15 teachers and a strength of 25 dedicated employees including therapists and other staff. The centre is unaided by the government and the good work is carried out with the help of private contribution.
The doors of the centre are always open and your support and help are always welcome!
