It’s time to mix running with pedalling at the duathlon

This is the season where everyone is looking to shed that extra weight. The best workout is done in the cold months of November, December, and January. The climate is hospitable and all the cyclists and runners head out to train. So, in these times, the Hyderabad Triathlon is organizing the Discover Duathlon to get the work out regime in action. This would be conducted at the Gachibowli stadium on December 20, 2015, at 6:00 am.

All the runners and the cyclists out there, it’s time to mix the sport and do both. This Duathlon gives you the perfect platform to do the mixing. It gives you an opportunity to challenge your limits and new set new ones. This gives you the chance to face your fear and challenge distances, for, this is not a timed event. The categories in the event are various and every participant can choose their category to participate in according to their physical and mental stamina. duathlon

To brief you up, this Duathlon consists of Sprint Duathlon, Novice Duathlon and mini Duathlon. Not owning a bicycle should not be a concern as they will be provided at the venue at an extra charge. This is a supported event, so, there will be adequate support for hydration. Every participant who finishes the event will be awarded a finishers medal and a certificate. Post the event, breakfast will be provided at the venue.

The sprint is for those who have been doing this consistently and are in peak condition. The novice is for those who have begun training in either of the fitness categories a while ago and would like to give the significant other sport a try. The Mini Duathlon is for those who have taken the steps to begin to work out and have been doing it consistently for some time. So, pick your slot and go for it.

T-shirts of this sports event can be printed by paying an extra charge of 250 INR, and these shall be provided on a first come first serve basis.

This is not a timed event, hence finishing the race itself is more important that finishing first. So, start training for the event and make every drop of sweat that leaves your body count.
