Arijit Singh will be performing live at the D.Y. Patil stadium for one of the biggest concerts of the season. The concert is on December 19, 2015, and is going to be a soul-stirring event with the best elements of western classical along with the vocals of India’s favourite heartthrob Arijit Singh.

Mumbai has always been close to Arijit and he loves performing here. He says, “Mumbai feels like home, this city teaches you a lot of things, helps you be yourself. It has seen a lot of pain, frustration and struggle”. This connection to Mumbai is what brings him back each time.

It’s going to be a performance like no other. The ensemble has proven their mettle time and again with rocking performances at Wembley London, Dubai and an extremely successful 7 city tour of the U.S. Mumbai will get to witness the entire 45-piece ensemble in action in a masterclass of symphony.

In Arijit’s own words “It’s a blend of alternative music and symphonic music to make it less monotonous and get a classic flavour” that India sorely needs. The Grand Symphony Orchestra features some of the best talents from across the world with an instrumental section including  drums, violin, grand piano, cello, harp, flute, French Horns, oboes and trumpets.

2015 has been a big year for Arijit with his songs topping the charts time after time. Arijit Singh made it big with Tum hi ho in 2013 for which he won the Filmfare award for best playback singer and an IIFA award for best lyricist. This year has seen him release big hits like Judaai,  Samjhawaan,  Sooraj dooba hain and Manwa lage rey. The Arijit Singh performance in Mumbai is slated to be one of the biggest musical performances of the season and is one of the grandest spectacles in terms of its scale with the ‘45 piece orchestra’ and the larger than life venue.
