O.Henry to Ruskin Bond, they all have one thing in common, that is their passion to pen exciting and intriguing short stories, that kindle the interest of reading even in tiny tots. But, have you ever wondered if your little one who loves reading could pen a story as well? Well, if it has been a hidden and undiscovered talent, or the child’s skills have been recognized and appreciated by your family and friends, here is a chance to get them to showcase their writing prowess.

Oakridge International School in association with Just Books is organizing a one-day short story contest on November 8, 2015 in various categories across the country. It’s not just an opportunity to explore your child’s creativity and writing skill. Yes, the competition has something more than just a prize.

The best-selected stories will not only receive prizes but also get featured in the upcoming edition of ‘The Acorn Book’. The first edition of the Acorn Book featured 45 best stories by young writers selected from Hyderabad, Bangalore, Vizag, and Chandigarh.

This will be the third edition of the event and this time the competition is being organized in a bigger and a better scale. Kids can now participate in the competition from across multiple venues in three age categories.
