The Buddh International circuit will be hosting an event that will allow you to race without a license. This one will be different as you would be racing on an F1 track with your legs. Here is an opportunity to run as fast as you can and run as long as your legs can carry you, without any interruptions. This is the fun of a race track. The Grand Prix Run is scheduled to be held on December 13, 2015 in the only F1 track in the country at 7 am.
Every running and racing enthusiast is invited as the run is categorized into many segments for kids, teenagers, and adults too. This is going to be a run of your lifetime as this is a chip-timed event. Every runner would be allotted individual timing chips to ensure accurate time records. Last minute on spot registrations would not be entertained, so, register before November 30, 2015.
The categories in the run include Half marathon, 10km run, 5km run, 3 km open run, and 3 km kids run, and corporate relay run. This is a social event and participants from across the world would be flying in to participate in this. It’s not every day you get to run on an F1 track.
So, put on your running shoes to race along the track without any interruptions of traffic and the smoke of it. Run in a clean and clear environments and make memories for life. Running here would be a little different to running on conventional roads as the earth beneath your feet would be sturdy and firm and the path will be even. The track is set to have 16 sweeping turns and frequent elevation changes. So, practice well before you participate.
Outstation runners can look up various accommodation and travel providers for ease and convenience in getting to the venue. The organisers have made arrangements like shuttle transport from the nearest metro station i.e botanical garden to the circuit. This is done to avoid as much hassle to the participants as possible.
