Intro to CSM
Managing projects in your organization may be tough working with different kinds of people, resulting in a delivery or quality compromise. To avoid those humiliating moments with a client, learn to manage projects / products based on scrum methodologies, which enables you to pass the SCM test and attain the ” Certified ScrumMaster Credential ” from the www.scrumalliance.org.
Participants in this course will be trained on Agile and Scrum basically. The course consists of it’s definition, what it does, where it’s applicable, what are the differences between traditional and Agile development methodologies, what are the roles, artifacts, meetings, values in a scrum framework, why they exist, and how they are applied.Understanding how to implement Scrum in an organization and what could be the grey areas to avoid. Agile estimation, user stories and planning poker are other practices that are followed and the need to have a newer perspective in order for it to be Agile.
Using the Agile approach, an individual will learn to understand how important a goal is, what is the ice breaker game, failing projects and their reasons, Agile manifesto, phase-gate model, incremental and iterative development.
Scrum’s high level overview of how it originated, what are its elements, principles, characteristics of a scrum team and scrum as a framework. The roles define the product owner, scrum master roles, team, and self organization. The artifacts of scrum like working with the requirements, product backlog, sprint backlog, backlog refinement, estimation, progress tracking, velocity, definition of done, and release planning. The sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, sprint retrospective, and sprint combine together called as Scrum ceremonies. Finally learning how to implement scrum by avoiding the common pitfalls, organizational impediments and using it to the fullest. Participants will learn the Agile and Scrum methodologies using individual / group exercises, games including simulation games too, cases, series of lectures based on the Scrum Alliance methodology.

Schedule and Fee
The two day course is scheduled from September 30, 2015 to October 1, 2015 9:00AM to 6:00PM in Delhi-NCR. The venue details will be announced soon. The course has a fee priced at 30000 INR and participants using credit cards to make their purchase, would be able to convert the amount to a flexible easy monthly instalments of 3,6,9,12 months if desired.
