The Hiranandani Powai Run is back again, in its fifth prestigious edition. Start this new year by participating in a fitness running event being held at Hiranandani Gardens, Powai, Mumbai on January 3, 2016.
The Powai Run will take place beside the scenic Powai Lake, a suburban neighborhood that is located in the northeast of Mumbai. The event is organized by Rotary Club of Mumbai Lakers. There are three different kinds of runs – one is the marathon run covering 21 km and two half marathons – one being the 4 km run and other a 10 km run. The participants under 12 years of age cannot participate in the half marathons. The minimum age limit for the marathon is 18 years old, there is no maximum age limit for any of the events.
All the events will start off from Forest street, Hiranandani Gardens and culminate at Cliff Avenue, Hiranandani Gardens through different routes for different runs. Hundreds of volunteers are employed to help and guide you from parking before the run to provide necessary amenities during the run. The parking area for the participants will be at the Ventura opposite Starbucks. Hiranandani Gardens will be ‘No vehicle movement area’ from 4 am to 8 am on January 3, 2016. Goodie bags, bibs with registration numbers will be distributed to participants on 2nd and 3rd January.
The participants not reporting on time will not be permitted to run. The reporting time for the event is given below:-
