A day-long workshop for Fashion Designers on Fashion Designing and Styling is set to take place in Bangalore on October 12, 2014 at the Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College. Organized by the “I Love Mondays”, in association with celebrity designer Chaitanya Rao, the workshop would open up opportunities for a thorough learning.

About Chaitanya Rao:
Hailing from Chennai, Chaitanya Rao is among the few fashion designers from the South who have managed to make a mark on the fashion canvas in the country with their unique style and collection. Chaitanya’s foray into the fashion industry began at a very young age, owing to his exposure to the world of glitz and glam to which his artist mom belongs.
A self-taught designer, he made a spectacular debut at in 2007 at the Lakme Fashion Week in 2007, where he presented an amazing collection of dresses inspired by the movie “The Silence of the Lambs.” To ensure his own imprint in his collection, Chaitanya plays his technique in the use of textured 3D embroidery with ribbons and also sequins, apart from the way he uses chiffons, silks and hand-painted georgettes.
His experience, spanning over a decade in the fashion industry, would offer the participants at the Fashion Designing and Styling workshop an opportunity to create and develop a fashion line that make their businesses successful.
