The 5th of September, sends down a gushing memories from the past where we as kids got to dress up as our favourite teachers. Here are a few memories that we all cherish from our childhood and associate with teacher’s day that most of us would have experienced.
Dressing up as your favourite teacher:
Apart from being extra attentive in our favourite teacher’s class or gifting them a rose every day, this is one thing we all look forward to, year after year as we start preparing for the teacher’s day celebrations.
Students Acting as Teachers:
The fun part does not just end with dressing up as the favourite teacher, as on this day a role reversal happens between the students and teachers.
Pens, Greeting cards, chocolates and gifts of all kinds adorned the desks of our teachers on the Teacher’s Day as we showered them with all our love and admiration in the form of these beautifully packed gifts.
Inspiring Lectures and Celebrations:
Starting with a brief introduction on the history behind the celebration of Teacher’s Day, the principles and teachers at school often delivered inspiring lectures that would help the students grow as productive individuals. In turn, the students were offered the opportunity to share their views and experiences with the teachers in their school and how each of them served as a source of inspiration.
These are a few memories we could pick through our memories down the lane, please feel free to share your views in the comments below.
